| A small church organ installed on a west
gallery in the “chair” position. The player sits at the back of the
instrument and is able to see over the sides down to the Altar. The case
is built of solid American Oak, with pipeshades carved in Lime,
representing Vines and the Yorkshire rose. The concept for the organ was based on our previous instrument at Marlow, adding a Salicional from tenor f for softer accompaniment, a Sesquialtera for both solo and chorus use, and a coupled pedalboard. The consultant to the church was Dr. John Rowntree. The stoplist: |
