Gainford, Church of Saint Mary

Charles Brindley bouwde in 1865 een nieuw mechanisch sleepladen-orgel met blauw geschilderde frontpijpen voor de Church of Saint Mary in Gainford (Durham). In een onbekend jaar is de speeltafel verplaatst. Hierbij werd de toetstractuur van het pedaal pneumatisch gemaakt. In 1985 is het orgel gerestaureerd door Bishop & Son (John Budgen). Daarbij is alle toegevoegde pneumatiek verwijderd, inclusief de super- en suboctaafkoppels. Het pedaalklavier is radiaal concaaf en de voorzijden van de zwarte boventoetsen van de manualen zijn halfrond.
