This small church organ was originally made for and installed at Holy Redeemer RC Church, Slough, but was later moved to Princes Risborough. It and Opus 7 were both built to the same design, the only exception being that the Subbass was provided only at the Slough/Princes Risborough installation. The cases are made of oiled American White Oak and have key coverings of Boxwood and Ebony. The slightly unusual two manual scheme with solitary 8ft on Manual II is designed to meet the responsorial requirements of post Vatican II
liturgy. The consultant to the church was Dr. John Rowntree.
