August Gern bouwde in een onbekend jaar een nieuw mechanisch sleepladen-orgel voor de Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow. Het is in 1953 gereviseerd en gerestaureerd door Hill, Norman & Beard. Daarbij werd een nieuwe elektro-pneumatische tractuur aangelegd.
