Kirtland & Jardine bouwde in 1849 een nieuw mechanisch sleepladen-orgel voor de Church of Saint Mary in Preston (Lancashire) UK. In 1883 is het instrument gewijzigd door Richardson. Henry Ainscough bouwde het orgel in 1934 om waarbij pneumatische tractuur werd aangelegd. Peter Collins bouwde het orgel in 1996 weer om naar mechanische tractuur en plaatste het in datzelfde jaar over naar de Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Cross in Leicester (Leicestershire) UK. Ook werd het uitgebreid met een Trombone 16′ op het pedaal. Het orgel heeft tegenwoordig 27 stemmen, 2 lege plaatsen, 3 manualen en een vrij pedaal. De stemmingstemperatuur is evenredig zwevend. De toonhoogte is a’ = 440 Hz. Het pedaalklavier is radiaal concaaf.
