In 1937 bouwde John Compton Organ Co. een nieuw theater-orgel voor de Guildhall in Southampton (Hampshire). Het is in 2008 gerestaureerd door HWS Associates. Het orgel is opgesteld in diverse orgelkamers boven het podium. Het pedaalklavier is radiaal concaaf. Het orgel is gebouwd volgens het unit-systeem en heeft elektrische tractuur. Er zijn 2 speeltafels. Het één heeft het uiterlijk van een theaterorgel en het andere van een concertorgel.
