Gerard Smith bouwde in 1727 een nieuw mechanisch sleepladen-orgel voor de Church of Saint Mary and All Saints in Whalley (Lancashire) UK. In 1909 bouwde Rothwell het orgel om naar pneumatische tractuur waarbij een nieuwe vrijstaande speeltafel werd geplaatst. In 1928 werd een elektrische windmotor geplaatst. Daarvoor moest het orgel door 2 mensen van wind worden voorzien. In 1972 wijzigde George Sixsmith de dispositie van de manualen door 4 registers te vervangen en 1 register op te schuiven van 8′ naar 16′. Het pedaal werd uitgebreid met 6 registers waarvan 2 Quinten en 4 unitregisters die samen 2 stamregisters vormen (Gemarkeerd met A en B). De tractuur werd rein elektrisch aangelegd. In 1991 voerde een onbekende orgelmaker onderhoudswerkzaamheden uit. Het pedaalklavier is radiaal concaaf.

SWELL (C – c4) 61 TOETSEN (IN ZWELKAST): Lieblich Bourdon 16′, Open Diapason 8′, Stopped Flute 8′, Echo Gamba 8′, Voix Celeste 8′, Principal 4′, Fifteenth 4′, Mixture III, Contra Oboe 16′ TC, Cornopean 8′, Tremulant.
PEDAL (C – f1) 30 TOETSEN: Open Wood 16′, Bourdon 16′, Quint 10 2/3′, Principal 8′ B, Bass Flute 8′ A, Octave Quint 5 1/3′, Fifteenth 4′ B, Flute 4′ A ,Super Octave 2′ B, Trombone 16′.
KOPPELINGEN: Swell to Pedal, Swell to Great, Swell to Choir, Swell octave, Swell suboctave, Swell unison off, Choir to Great, Choir to Pedal, Great to Pedal, Swell Octave to Pedal.
SPEELHULPEN: 5 pistons each to Great and Swell; 4 pistons to Choir; Trumpet piston (cancelling all others); 5 toe pistons for Pedal; 5 toe pistons for Swell (duplicating manual pistons); Reversible thumb pistons: Sw-Pd, Gt-Pd, Ch-Pd, Sw-Gt, Ch-Gt, Sw-Ch.; Reversible toe pistons: Sw-Gt, Gt-Pd, Trombone.; Great and Pedal pistons coupled; Humidifier.
