James J. Binns bouwde in een onbekend jaar een nieuw mechanisch sleepladen-orgel voor de Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk (Moederkerk) in Worcester (Wes-Kaap) Zuid-Afrika. Cooper, Gill & Tomkins bouwden het orgel omstreeks 1955 om. Daarbij werd nieuwe elektrische tractuur aangelegd en een vrijstaande speeltafel geplaatst.
