John Holt bouwde omstreeks 1860 een nieuw mechanisch sleepladen-orgel met gedecoreerde frontpijpen voor de Methodist Church in Gomersal (Yorkshire). In 1960 bouwde Marshall Sykes het instrument om waarbij elektro-pneumatische tractuur werd aangelegd.
