In 1904 bouwde de firma Walcker een groot orgel voor de nieuwgebouwde Sankt-Georg-Kirche in Ulm. Het orgel werd uitgevoerd met kegelladen en een volledig pneumatische tractuur.
In 1964 restaureerde Albert Reiser het orgel. De tractuur werd hierbij geëlektrificeerd, en ook de dispositie werd aangepast in meer barokke trant.
In 2002-2004 voerde de firma Kuhn een nieuwe restauratie uit. De oorspronkelijke dispositie is hierbij gereconstrueerd en ook werd de toetstractuur gewijzigd in mechanisch-pneumatisch. Het hernieuwde orgel is op 7 november 2004 weer in gebruik genomen.
