In 1885 bouwde William Hill & Son een nieuw driemanuaals orgel voor de Church of Saint Michael in Macclesfield (Cheshire). Het is in 1929 omgebouwd naar pneumatiek door Hill, Norman & Beard. later raakte het orgel door het gebruik van heteluchtverwarming onbespeelbaar. Later is het door Percy Daniel & Co. gerestaureerd en omgebouwd naar een 2 manuaals orgel. Daarbij is nieuwe elektro-pneumatische tractuur aangelegd. Ook is er een nieuwe vrijstaande speeltafel met een radiaal concaaf pedaal geplaatst.
