In 1876 bouwde Gray & Davison een nieuw tweemanualig mechanisch sleepladen-orgel voor de Church of Saint John the Baptist in Thanet in Margate. Hill bouwde het in 1881 om naar pneumatiek. In 1891 breidde de firma Hill het orgel uit tot een drieklaviers orgel. De firma Browne uit Haycraft voerde in 1907 onderhoud uit. De firma F. H. Browne uit Ash (Kent) bouwde het instrument in 1955 om.
In 1990 volgde er weer een grondige ombouw van dezelfde firma.
