In 1860 bouwde J.W. Walker & Sons een nieuw mechanisch sleepladen-orgel voor de Abbey Church of Holy Cross and Saint Lawrence in Waltham Abbey (Essex). Dit werd in 1879 en 1893 door dezelfde firma uitgebreid. In 1953 is het driemanualige orgel omgebouwd en verplaatst naar de galerij aan de westzijde van de kerk. Dit werd uitgevoerd door J.W. Walker & Sons. In 1994 is het orgel gerestaureerd door Principal Pipe Organs uit York. In 2003 beschadigde een verwarde man met 2 bijlen de speeltafel. Harrison & Harrison repareerde de schade.In 2019 is het orgel omgebouwd door Mander Organs. Daarbij is de dispositie gewijzigd. Het pedaalklavier is radiaal concaaf.
