In 1973 heeft de firma Norman & Beard het Hill-orgel uit 1908 in de kathedraal van Lichfield volledig omgebouwd. Daarbij werd elektro-pneumatische tractuur en kegelladen aangelegd. Harrison & Harrison voerden in het jaar 2000 een revisie uit aan het instrument. Hierbij is de dispositie uit 1908 voor een groot gedeelte hersteld. Harrison & Harrison hebben in het schip van de kathedraal een nieuwe Nave-division met dertien registers geplaatst. Dit werk werd bespeelbaar gemaakt vanaf de hoofdspeeltafel. De elektro-pneumatische tractuur en de kegelladen bleven gehandhaafd. Het pedaalklavier is radiaal concaaf.
