The Italianate style of this organ (1991) is designed to complement the neo-Romanesque architecture of the church. The casework is of English Oak, with front pipes of polished tin and carved Limewood pipeshades on a Celtic theme. The keyboards are overlaid with Blackwood and
Bone. This has been one of the very few occasions when we found it acceptable to install a new organ in a chancel chamber, rather than a free-standing case. It works well, due to the exceptional acoustics of the church.
