In 1905 bouwde Norman & Beard een nieuw kegelladen-orgel met rein pneumatische tractuur voor de Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Axminster (Devon). Het instrument had drie manualen en een vrij pedaal met 24 stemmen. In 2000 startte de firma Deane met een ombouw en uitbreiding van het orgel. De tractuur werd geëlectrificeerd en de dispositie is uitgebreid tot 44 stemmen. Op 11 februari 2002 werd het instrument weer gewijd. Andrew Millington, organist van de kathedraal in Exeter heeft daarbij het inauguratieconcert gegeven. Het pedaalklavier is radiaal concaaf. De van origine niet gekleurde tinnen frontpijpen zijn later met goudverf gesprayd.
