In 1823 bouwde de firma Lincoln een nieuw mechanisch sleepladen-orgel voor de Church of Saint Mary in Battersea, een wijk van London. In 1867 werd het omgebouwd door Bishop & Starr. In 1938 werd het instrument gerenoveerd waarbij een nieuwe pneumatische tractuur werd aangelegd. De sleepladen werden vervangen door kegelladen. In 1991 bouwde Saxon Aldred het orgel om waarbij hij mechanische toetstractuur, elektrische registertractuur en sleepladen aanlegde. Hij plaatste het orgel in een nieuwe eiken orgelkas met houtsnijwerk. Het pedaalklavier is radiaal concaaf.
